I Am an award winning Broadcast journalist of Pakistan working in Pakistani media since last 14 years. I have worked for almost all the mediums from print media to Radio and finally i adopted television as my career as an Anchor. I did prime time news shows and also did my own current affair based shows on leading channels of Pakistan, started from the most famous news channel Express news then i joined 92 news TV and now a days I am working for Neo Tv network as a senior news anchor and also doing my own current and social issues based show Neo @ 5 as host.
I won best female anchor of Pakistan award in 2013.
I was nominated and was sponsored by US state department in 2014 among 8 senior journalists from all over Pakistan to visit US for the most prestigious professional exchange program IVLP to discuss the very sensitive and important issue of journalism and security.
I was always interested in social work so i with few other fellow journalists and psychologists started working for the psychological and financial rehabilitation of the terrorism affected people and their families.
In my future plans i want to work on documentary films specifically to highlight the sufferings of people affected during war on terror in Pakistan.
