Elissa Yancey is a journalism educator, writer and reporter with three decades of experience in the field and in the classroom. She has developed online courses for the Poynter Institute's NewsUniversity and currently tells stories of students, faculty and staff at the University of Cincinnati's College of Arts & Sciences as well as working as a freelance editor. She has a master’s in education. She loves JAWS.
